Congratulations to the girls track team on a great season. Last night, they competed in the conference track meet, and while we did not place where we wanted as a team, Coach Miller and Coach Schumack saw a lot of growth in these girls.
- Kayla W. placed 2nd in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.01
- Miley H. took 3rd place in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:31.20
- The girls 4x100 meter relay team, consisting of Jazaiah G, Izzarriah P, TyJai A, and Kyleigh G, finished 5th with a time of 54.88
- The girls 4x200 meter relay time, consisting of Kayla W, Savannah B, TyJai A, and Kyleigh G, finished 2nd with a time of 1:55.81
- Izzarriah P. earned 4th place in the shot put with a throw of 28’ 0.75”
- Kayla W. earned 5th place in the high jump, jumping 4’ 2”
- A special shout out goes to Miley H, Terryona B, and Bri J. on getting their personal bests in their field events!
Great job to all of the band and chorus students for an amazing concert last night. Mrs. Haas and Mrs. Gallaher are extremely proud of you. Congratulations to the Belle Valley soccer team on an outstanding 10-0 victory over High Mount last night. Scoring for the Bombers were Ethan S, Ethan H, Landon K, Judah B, and Xavier B, each with 2 goals. The team did a great job applying the skills and strategies we have been practicing to real game situations, and it was great to watch everyone work together and play as a team.
While we are proud of the effort and the win, we also want to remind everyone about the importance of being respectful and humble winners. Winning with class is just as important as playing well. We represent Belle Valley every time we step onto the field, and good sportsmanship should always be part of who we are. Let’s continue to compete hard, support one another, and show respect to our opponents at all times. Let’s bring home another win tonight, for our last game against Wolf Branch!

Congratulations to the POP Winners for the month of April! The following students have demonstrated Pride, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Enthusiasm this school year! Kamorah J, Stacey K, Lyric M, Chris H, and Gabby Ja.
The BV soccer team took on EMGE last night in a hard-fought match. EMGE came out strong and scored within the first four minutes, but our team stayed composed and responded by taking a 2-1 lead. The second half was a goal for goal battle, with both teams making strong plays throughout, but we ultimately fell short with a final score of 5-3.
There were some standout performances worth recognizing. Xavier B. made several outstanding plays and scored 2 beautiful goals, Judah B. scored his first goal of the season, and Kyle D. came up with some huge saves in goal to keep us in the game. Dominick S. also had an incredible performance, playing one of the best games of his career with quick decision-making and a high soccer IQ.
Great effort by the entire team—keep working and building on this momentum!

The soccer team had a hard-fought match against West Junior High yesterday and played a great game from start to finish. Xavier B. put us on the board with a great goal, and after West scored to tie it up, our team kept the momentum going and battled through regulation into overtime. After a competitive OT period, the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Shoutout to Landon K, Jamarion B, Tyhen B, Mahlayah M, and Kyle D. for having outstanding games and helping lead a strong team effort. Great job, Belle Valley soccer!

Yesterday the Belle Valley Soccer Team played a great game against Signal Hill! Dominick S. was able to score a goal with assistance from Xavier B. and Ethan S, who just returned to the pitch from an injury. Gabe C, Jamarion B, and Landon K. played a hard game and never stopped hustling while Tyehn B, Mahaliyah M, and Emma P. did a great job on our defense. Kyle D. played his second full game in goal and did an amazing job stopping multiple shots and making many successful passes up the field to our players. In the end the Bombers weren’t able to bring home a win with the final score of 2-1, however, Coach Romero and Coach Clark are extremely proud of the way you played last night. Don’t forget, practice after school today!

In April we are practicing perseverance by trying a new activity, even if it seems scary at first.
Reminder for all 7th and 8th graders: the Sneaker Ball is happening Friday, April 24th from 5:00–7:00 PM. Come hang out with friends, grab some food, and have fun in the gym. $5 admission (pay your homeroom teacher or at the door).
The soccer team faced off against JAMS last night in a competitive and exciting match that ended in a 1–1 tie. Xavier B. found the back of the net for our lone goal, keeping us right in the fight throughout the game. It was a true team effort, with Dom S, Landon K, Avery K, Ethan H, and Judah B. all have great offensive games while Adreonna E, Tyhen B, Abigail O-J, and Riley J. all stepped up and having outstanding defensive performances on the field. The team showed great hustle, determination, and teamwork, especially in the 2nd half. Keep up the strong work, and don’t forget we have practice after school today!

In April we are practicing perseverance by asking for help when we need it and then keeping at it.
Our soccer team took on Shiloh Middle School in a very intense match. We came out strong with Ethan S. putting us on the board first, but Shiloh responded quickly and kept the pressure on. The game went back and forth all night, with Ethan S. finding the net again and Xavier B. another goal to bring us to a 3–3 tie at the end of regulation. We headed into overtime and, despite a hard-fought effort, came up just short with a 4–3 loss. Tyhen B, Mlayha M, Ethan H, Dom S, Landon K, Jamarion B, Judah B, and Avery K. had great games. Last but not least Coach Clark and Coach Romero want to give a HUGE shoutout to Avery K. Avery stepped up big in goal and had an outstanding game AGAIN with several incredible saves that kept us in it the entire time. Not only are your coaches proud of you, your team mates appreciate all of your hard work hustle. Tonight we play Central Jr. High. Don’t forget to meet in Mr. Gleadle’s room after school. Congratulations to the Belle Valley soccer team on an outstanding 10-0 victory over High Mount last night. Scoring for the Bombers were Ethan S, Ethan H, Landon K, Judah B, and Xavier B, each with 2 goals. The team did a great job applying the skills and strategies we have been practicing to real game situations, and it was great to watch everyone work together and play as a team.
While we are proud of the effort and the win, we also want to remind everyone about the importance of being respectful and humble winners. Winning with class is just as important as playing well. We represent Belle Valley every time we step onto the field, and good sportsmanship should always be part of who we are. Let’s continue to compete hard, support one another, and show respect to our opponents at all times. Let’s bring home another win tonight, for our last game against Wolf Branch!

Congratulations to the POP Winners for the month of April! The following students have demonstrated Pride, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Enthusiasm this school year! Kamorah J, Stacey K, Lyric M, Chris H, and Gabby Ja.
The BV soccer team took on EMGE last night in a hard-fought match. EMGE came out strong and scored within the first four minutes, but our team stayed composed and responded by taking a 2-1 lead. The second half was a goal for goal battle, with both teams making strong plays throughout, but we ultimately fell short with a final score of 5-3.
There were some standout performances worth recognizing. Xavier B. made several outstanding plays and scored 2 beautiful goals, Judah B. scored his first goal of the season, and Kyle D. came up with some huge saves in goal to keep us in the game. Dominick S. also had an incredible performance, playing one of the best games of his career with quick decision-making and a high soccer IQ.
Great effort by the entire team—keep working and building on this momentum!

Congratulations to the boys’ track team on their 1st place finish and the girls track team on their 2nd place finish in their track meet last Thursday!
Boys Results:
Ahmad Y. finished 1st in the shot put with a throw of 42’ 4.5”.
Ahmad also finished 1st in the discus with a personal best throw of 117’ 10”.
Idonis S. earned 2nd place in the shot put with a throw of 33’ 10.5”.
Kevin G. earned 2nd place in the long jump with a distance of 11’ 6”.
Cody W. won high jump with a personal best of 5’ 4”. Cody also earned 1st in the 8th grade 100 m with a time of 12.28

The soccer team had a hard-fought match against West Junior High yesterday and played a great game from start to finish. Xavier B. put us on the board with a great goal, and after West scored to tie it up, our team kept the momentum going and battled through regulation into overtime. After a competitive OT period, the game ended in a 1-1 tie. Shoutout to Landon K, Jamarion B, Tyhen B, Mahlayah M, and Kyle D. for having outstanding games and helping lead a strong team effort. Great job, Belle Valley soccer!

The boys’ took 6th place in the men’s middle school and 9th in the men’s mixed competition. The following athletes earned 6th place or higher in their events:

Yesterday the Belle Valley Soccer Team played a great game against Signal Hill! Dominick S. was able to score a goal with assistance from Xavier B. and Ethan S, who just returned to the pitch from an injury. Gabe C, Jamarion B, and Landon K. played a hard game and never stopped hustling while Tyehn B, Mahaliyah M, and Emma P. did a great job on our defense. Kyle D. played his second full game in goal and did an amazing job stopping multiple shots and making many successful passes up the field to our players. In the end the Bombers weren’t able to bring home a win with the final score of 2-1, however, Coach Romero and Coach Clark are extremely proud of the way you played last night. Don’t forget, practice after school today!

The soccer team faced off against JAMS last night in a competitive and exciting match that ended in a 1–1 tie. Xavier B. found the back of the net for our lone goal, keeping us right in the fight throughout the game. It was a true team effort, with Dom S, Landon K, Avery K, Ethan H, and Judah B. all have great offensive games while Adreonna E, Tyhen B, Abigail O-J, and Riley J. all stepped up and having outstanding defensive performances on the field. The team showed great hustle, determination, and teamwork, especially in the 2nd half. Keep up the strong work, and don’t forget we have practice after school today!

In April we are practicing perseverance by asking for help when we need it and then keeping at it.
Our soccer team took on Shiloh Middle School in a very intense match. We came out strong with Ethan S. putting us on the board first, but Shiloh responded quickly and kept the pressure on. The game went back and forth all night, with Ethan S. finding the net again and Xavier B. another goal to bring us to a 3–3 tie at the end of regulation. We headed into overtime and, despite a hard-fought effort, came up just short with a 4–3 loss. Tyhen B, Mlayha M, Ethan H, Dom S, Landon K, Jamarion B, Judah B, and Avery K. had great games. Last but not least Coach Clark and Coach Romero want to give a HUGE shoutout to Avery K. Avery stepped up big in goal and had an outstanding game AGAIN with several incredible saves that kept us in it the entire time. Not only are your coaches proud of you, your team mates appreciate all of your hard work hustle. Tonight we play Central Jr. High. Don’t forget to meet in Mr. Gleadle’s room after school.
