We finally have received our State track meet event results — In addition to placing 4th in the state overall for girls, Congratulations to the following - Raegan B. placed 2nd in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 15.95. Our 4x100 meter relay team, which includes Raegan B, RaMiyah Y, De’An C, and Cassidy W. placed 2nd with a time of 51.15 s. Cassidy W. placed 2nd in the 8th grade 100 m dash with a time of 12.13. Audrey K. placed 7th in the 800 m run with a time of 2:38.55. Cassidy W. placed 2nd in the 200m dash with a time of 25.67. Aziza W. placed 10th in long jump with a distance of 14 ft, 9 inches. Ra’Miyah Y. placed 2nd in High Jump with a final height of 5 ft 2 inches. And finally, Jordan W. placed 11th in Boys Shot Put with a final distance of 36 ft, 9 inches. Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed and placed in our State meet - your coaches and school are extremely proud of you. Go Bombers !!!!
Today is the All Year PBIS party. Students should bring their carnival tickets with them. They will need these in order to attend today’s event. These tickets are in homeroom teachers’ mailboxes. The 7th-8th grade party will be from 10:00-11:15 and the 5th-6th grade party will be from 11:45-1:00. Students should be released at the beginning of these times to head outside by the concession stand area.

Thanks to generous donations, there is a large supply of books to choose from, so all you bookworms, come visit the library and find some good books! Congratulations to the top finishers of the ICTM Individual Math Contest yesterday! In 6th grade, Kylen C. came in first place with a perfect score of 8 points! Runners up were William L. with 6 points, and Kayla J. and Mikayla L. with 5 points. In 5th grade, Savannah B, Nylah E, and Abigail J. tied for first place with a score of 4 points. James L. throwing discus in 3rd with a throw of 99 feet 8 inches followed by Lance W. in 4th with a throw of 86 feet 2.5 inches. In long jump, Jesus A. came in 1st with a jump of 17 feet 6 inches followed by Alex L. in 3rd with a jump of 16 feet 10 inches and 4th with a jump 16 feet 6 inches. With high jump Amir B. tied for 3rd with a jump of 4 feet 10 inches followed by Peyton M. in 4th with a jump of 4 foot 6 inches. In the 400 meter dash, Alex W. placed 3rd with a new personal record! In the mile Gavin M. placed 3rd, in the 7th grade 100 meter dash, Eric B. placed 3rd, in the 8th grade 100 meter dash, CJ W. placed 3rd followed by Alex L. in 4th. In the 800 meter dash Gavin M. placed 4th, in the 200 meter dash Jai’Den K. placed 3rd followed by Alex L. in 4th. Welcome back. Testing is completed except for some makeups. Spring time is here and it is time to work hard until our last day of school. The end of the year will be here before we know it, so do your best each day.

Reminder about dress code and appropriate length of shorts and skirts. Also, make sure we check our shirts and we are not showing more skin than appropriate at school. If in doubt, change it and put on a t-shirt.

Belle Valley Track team had their first meet last night and were able to pull off their first win of the season! For the girls Natalya P. got 1st in Shot put and in discus. In long jump, Aziza W. took 1st place with a new school record of 17 feet 4.5 inches and Deon C. took 2nd place with 14 feet 1 inch. In high jump, RaMyiah Y. took first in high jump with 4 feet 10 inches, a state qualifying height! In hurdles, Kelis H. took 2nd place, in the 400 meter. Aziza W. took 1st place, in the mile Vanessa S. took 1st place. In the 7th grade 100 meter, Deon C. took 1st place, Taliyah A. took 3rd place. In the 8th grade 100 meter, Cassidy W. took 1st place and RaMyiah Y. took 2nd place. For the 800 meter, Audree K. took 1st place and Nora C. took 2nd place. For the 200 meter, Cassidy W. took 1st place. In the 4x100 meter relay, Deon C, RaMyiah Y, Peyton G, and Cassidy W. took 1st place. In the 400 meter, Anthony S. came in 1st, in the mile Alex W. came in 3rd place, in the 7th grade 100 meter dash, Eric B. came in 2nd place, in the 8th grade 100 meter dash CJ W. came in 2nd, In the 800 meter Anthony S. came in 2nd followed by Nic C. in 3rd, in the 200 meter dash, Alex L. came in 3rd followed by Jesus N. in 4th. In the 7th grade 4x200 meter relay with Eric B, KJ D, Colby L, and Trevor M. took 1st place. Today we have our ELA State tests. We only have two ELA units. Please take your time and read the passages, the questions carefully and take your time. You have plenty of time to do each question. If you have time remaining, go back and make sure you complete each question and look over your work. You will do great!

We finally have received our State track meet event results — In addition to placing 4th in the state overall for girls, Congratulations to the following - Raegan B. placed 2nd in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 15.95. Our 4x100 meter relay team, which includes Raegan B, RaMiyah Y, De’An C, and Cassidy W. placed 2nd with a time of 51.15 s. Cassidy W. placed 2nd in the 8th grade 100 m dash with a time of 12.13. Audrey K. placed 7th in the 800 m run with a time of 2:38.55. Cassidy W. placed 2nd in the 200m dash with a time of 25.67. Aziza W. placed 10th in long jump with a distance of 14 ft, 9 inches. Ra’Miyah Y. placed 2nd in High Jump with a final height of 5 ft 2 inches. And finally, Jordan W. placed 11th in Boys Shot Put with a final distance of 36 ft, 9 inches. Congratulations to all of our athletes who competed and placed in our State meet - your coaches and school are extremely proud of you. Go Bombers !!!!
Today is the All Year PBIS party. Students should bring their carnival tickets with them. They will need these in order to attend today’s event. These tickets are in homeroom teachers’ mailboxes. The 7th-8th grade party will be from 10:00-11:15 and the 5th-6th grade party will be from 11:45-1:00. Students should be released at the beginning of these times to head outside by the concession stand area.

Congratulations to the top finishers of the ICTM Individual Math Contest yesterday! In 6th grade, Kylen C. came in first place with a perfect score of 8 points! Runners up were William L. with 6 points, and Kayla J. and Mikayla L. with 5 points. In 5th grade, Savannah B, Nylah E, and Abigail J. tied for first place with a score of 4 points. The runners up were Elijah E. and Elise R. Both scoring 3 points. Thank you to all who participated in this year’s math contests! Mrs. Bator looks forward to continuing this tradition next year!

Last night the Bombers had a track meet and did amazing! Here are some highlights of our meet, Jordan W. placed 1st in shot put with a throw of 37 feet 5 inches, Lance W. following with 30 feet 10 inches. James L. throwing discus in 3rd with a throw of 99 feet 8 inches followed by Lance W. in 4th with a throw of 86 feet 2.5 inches. In long jump, Jesus A. came in 1st with a jump of 17 feet 6 inches followed by Alex L. in 3rd with a jump of 16 feet 10 inches and 4th with a jump 16 feet 6 inches. With high jump Amir B. tied for 3rd with a jump of 4 feet 10 inches followed by Peyton M. in 4th with a jump of 4 foot 6 inches. In the 400 meter dash, Alex W. placed 3rd with a new personal record! In the mile Gavin M. placed 3rd, in the 7th grade 100 meter dash, Eric B. placed 3rd, in the 8th grade 100 meter dash, CJ W. placed 3rd followed by Alex L. in 4th. In the 800 meter dash Gavin M. placed 4th, in the 200 meter dash Jai’Den K. placed 3rd followed by Alex L. in 4th. In the 7th grade 4x200 meter relay, Eric B, KJ D, Trevor M, and Colby L. placed 2nd, in the 4x100 meter, Jai’Den K, Jesus A, Peyton M, and CJ W. placed 3rd, in the 4x200, Jai’Den K, Amir B, Jesus A, and CJ W. Placed 1st, and our 4x400 meter relay team with Peyton M, Amir B, Jesus A, and Jai’Den K. placed 2nd!

In high jump RaMyiah Y. took 1st with a jump of 4 feet 9 inches followed by Aziza W. in 2nd with a jump of 4 feet 8 inches. In Hurdles Raegan B. took 2nd followed by Kelis H. in 4th. In the mile Vanessa S. took 3rd, in the 7th grade 100 meter dash Deon C. took 2nd, in the 8th grade 100 meter dash, Cassidy W. took 1st followed by RaMiyah Y. in 2nd, in the 800 meter dash, Audree K. took 2nd followed by Aziza W. in 3rd, in the 200 meter dash, Cassidy W. took 1st. Welcome back. Testing is completed except for some makeups. Spring time is here and it is time to work hard until our last day of school. The end of the year will be here before we know it, so do your best each day.
Reminder to 8th grade students who would like to order a t-shirt. You may call this morning, but orders are due today.
Reminder about dress code and appropriate length of shorts and skirts. Also, make sure we check our shirts and we are not showing more skin than appropriate at school. If in doubt, change it and put on a t-shirt.

Belle Valley Track team had their first meet last night and were able to pull off their first win of the season! For the girls Natalya P. got 1st in Shot put and in discus. In long jump, Aziza W. took 1st place with a new school record of 17 feet 4.5 inches and Deon C. took 2nd place with 14 feet 1 inch. In high jump, RaMyiah Y. took first in high jump with 4 feet 10 inches, a state qualifying height! In hurdles, Kelis H. took 2nd place, in the 400 meter. Aziza W. took 1st place, in the mile Vanessa S. took 1st place. In the 7th grade 100 meter, Deon C. took 1st place, Taliyah A. took 3rd place. In the 8th grade 100 meter, Cassidy W. took 1st place and RaMyiah Y. took 2nd place. For the 800 meter, Audree K. took 1st place and Nora C. took 2nd place. The eighth grade class party is also underway. You will receive further information about those details. The majority chose a party at the Edge with multiple activities and food for everyone.
Today we have our ELA State tests. We only have two ELA units. Please take your time and read the passages, the questions carefully and take your time. You have plenty of time to do each question. If you have time remaining, go back and make sure you complete each question and look over your work. You will do great!
Dress-up days, wear your favorite sports team shirt on Tuesday, and wear your PJ’s on Wednesday. We only have three days this week so let’s give it all we have!
